17 DPO Beta

I went in for the Beta draw this AM.  I am so scared.  The nurse tried to put me at ease, but admitted that even with a loss you will never be at ease.  Apparently she had a late loss at 20 weeks when her little boy died of heart failure in the uterus.  She said she was terrified during the whole time of her next pregnancy, but it was healthy.  I explained my loss at 11 weeks and how long it has taken to get us to this point after our loss and she just hugged me.  I was in tears by that point.

As for the Beta's she explained to me that they are looking for an increase but it does not have to be doubling, just about a 40% increase.  She said that most people will double, but it does not happen to everyone.  Also my beta at ~15DPO (173) is a great number.  They like to see above 75 at that point.

I will update when I get the numbers from them this afternoon.  ETA today's beta's are 393.  They more than doubled!
